TAKING THE TIME TO COOK…

I was born in a home in France, where my mum cooked a lot, where all-ready made dish was not part of our everyday menu. I remember her cooking all the time, making marmelade, boeuf bourguignon, boeuf-mode, couscous, terrines, duck, dishes cooked in the fire place…

When I was 10, I was looking after my little sister and my mum would freeze some food for me to heat up when we were alone at home. Naturally, when I lived alone during my studies, I tried to keep on cooking my own food and never stopped since then.

I remember how I would phone my mum and ask her some tricks or tips until she passed away a few years ago.

I decided to share some recipes, ideas, recommendations and pictures of my cooking because I enjoy spending time in my Kitchen. Actually, I recently renovated my flat and focused a lot on the kitchen. I’m very happy with the results and it’s exactly like I imagined it would be.

… CAN BE A VERY PLEASANT & HEALTHY EXPERIENCE

I cook for the two of us, but I really enjoy cooking for my friends and hearing about whether they like it or not.

I was born in France, lived in Scotland, Belgium and now Spain, so my cooking doesn’t really have any fixed origins. However, the influence of my mum’s cooking is definitely here as she was also passionate about food and she was a real chef!

I hope you enjoy it and don’t hesitate to comment if you have tried one of the recipe, and please share, share, share! 🙂
