No, no no, it’s not me as you could guess. I’m not design amazing patisserie 🙂 My friend Amélie from Avignon, lovely town in the south east of France, has came for the weekend. She is learning to be a chef patissier in France. She heard that the patisserie @Escriba were fantastic so she made me walked her there.

We bought these 2 deserts. They looked really lovely. ‘Eclair Tardor’, I was not fan of the Eclair so much as it was too dry for me and I don’t like orange in deserts in general but the round one ‘Illa’ (Gianduja chocolate mousse on hazelnut crusty base) was just amazing. Really lovely, right texture, not too heavy. Loved it.

Of course she shall try to replicate it during her learning and I’ll post news if she manages.

Tomorrow we will do ‘Choux à la crème’ – watch out!
